Do you see blue smoke from
your exhaust?
Do you have to put more oil than gas
in your car?
Do you have to turn up your radio to drown out the engine
noise?
These symptoms indicate your engine may need rebuilding or
replacing. The oil in your engine is needed to lubricate
and cool the many moving parts inside your engine. As the
engine ages, the oil pressure is decreased due to bearing
and overall wear, and eventually you will hear noise or
knocking as the wear becomes excessive. The blue smoke you
see is usually caused by worn piston rings or valve guides
and/or seals which will foul spark plugs prematurely.
Engine performance will become compromised.
One simple way to prolong engine life is to regularly
change your oil and filter every 3k to 7k miles or every 3
months, depending on manufacturers recommendations.
We can perform every service
from a valve adjustment to a major engine overhaul,
depending on what is required. Most valve jobs and engine
overhauls are done on the premises, with warranty.

Did You Know?
That a broken timing belt will not only leave you
stranded but could leave you with a very expensive
repair bill due to bent valves and/or piston
damage! Most manufacturers recommend replacing
timing belt between 60k to 90k miles. |
